Our mission is to challenge the buy-and-throw-away culture in the furniture industry. That’s why at Wecycle, we produce all our products in Denmark using the most environmentally friendly materials possible, such as 100% residual wood and entirely natural textiles. However, sustainability should never come at the expense of design—that’s why our key design principles are Nordic, timeless, and minimalist.
The Luna Bench is made from 100% residual wood and features a hand-woven seat in OEKO-TEX certified linen, giving each bench its own unique character. Like all Wecycle Furniture pieces, it is designed and produced in Denmark.
With its simple, Nordic, and minimalist aesthetic, the bench is created as a response to the throwaway culture, where trends rarely last beyond a season or two. The idea is to give quality, discarded materials a second life through thoughtful craftsmanship.
Use it as a dining bench with room for the whole family, seating in the hallway, as decoration, or wherever it fits your space.
The bench is available in three sizes and three color combinations.

The beautiful seat is handwoven with webbing made from recycled cotton clothing. Cotton that would otherwise have been incinerated has thus been given new life through our benches and stools, designed to last for many years to come.
An environmentally friendly alternative
Residual wood
Wood is often sorted out and used for firewood or wood chips if it has knots, warping, or an “incorrect” size. We aim to reduce resource waste by producing all our furniture from sorted-out wood. All our wood comes from Danish forests managed with environmentally friendly forestry practices.
