About Wecycle Furniture
Wecycle Furniture is a Danish brand creating furniture and textiles produced locally in Denmark using 100% discarded wood, eco-friendly, and recycled materials. Our range includes benches, stools, storage furniture, shelves, home textiles, and outdoor furniture—all crafted with care and respect for the environment.
Our designs are Nordic and timeless, designed to fit into most homes for many years and, hopefully, generations to come. At Wecycle Furniture, we believe in reusing and reinventing the resources we already have, challenging the buy-use-dispose culture.
By embracing a circular economy, we strive for a greener future where every piece of furniture tells a story of renewal and revival. Our timeless designs are crafted to seamlessly fit into any home and era.

About Me
My name is Didde, and I originally trained as a garment maker specialising in design at VIA Design and Business. Later, I chose to take a course in furniture building, and in 2021, I took the step to found Wecycle Furniture. My passion for design and creativity is deeply rooted—I have been restoring old furniture since childhood alongside my parents and grandparents. Creativity has always driven me, and for me, only my imagination sets the limits. I am a perfectionist down to the finest detail and have carefully honed each of my designs. It is important to me that my furniture stands the test of time—after all, what’s the point of creating timeless designs if they come with an expiry date?

Responsibility
All the wood I use comes either from leftover materials from other construction projects or from sorted-out wood sourced from Danish forests. This is wood that would otherwise be wasted or used as firewood and chips. Instead, I aim to give it a long life as quality furniture, thereby avoiding waste of valuable, healthy resources.
For the seats on my benches and chairs, I use webbing made from recycled cotton. The cotton comes from discarded clothing in the fashion industry. Rather than burning the clothing, it is shredded and spun into new yarn, which we then have woven into durable webbing. In this way, we recycle cotton clothing and give it new life as seating on our furniture.
The leather I use is 100% recycled leather, often sourced from old sofas that have gone out of fashion but remain in perfect condition. Leather is an extremely durable material, and I carefully select the leather used in crafting my furniture to ensure consistent top quality.
I am deeply passionate about resource reuse and constantly stay updated on the latest methods for upcycling and recycling materials.
