Our mission is to challenge the buy-and-throw-away culture in the furniture industry. That’s why at Wecycle, we produce all our products in Denmark using the most environmentally friendly materials possible, such as 100% residual wood and entirely natural textiles. However, sustainability should never come at the expense of design—that’s why our key design principles are Nordic, timeless, and minimalist.
The Abby compartment shelf is made from 100% solid beech wood and features finger joints and multifunctional compartments, allowing you to arrange and divide it as needed. A milled hanger on the back makes it easy to hang both horizontally and vertically.
All our furniture is produced in Denmark using only 100% residual wood and assembled with Nordic Swan Ecolabelled glue. We produce with care, using the resources available to us.

The Abby compartment shelf is produced in Denmark at a furniture workshop outside Randers. All our residual wood comes from forestry in the local area, ensuring a short and transparent supply chain from forest to finished furniture in your home.
A more environmentally friendly alternative
Residual wood
Our shelves and compartment shelves are made from 100% residual wood sourced from European forests. This way, we reduce resource waste and give the wood a new life instead of it being used for firewood or wood chips. We collaborate with forestry operations in Europe with respect for the forest’s resources, ecosystem, and biodiversity.
